This Privacy Policy explains what information The Nest Planner ("we," "us") collects and how we use it.

Information we collect

• Information you provide. If you join our email list, ask us to email you a link to calculator results, or contact us, we collect the name and email address you submit.
• Calculator inputs. Our calculators run in your browser. The numbers you enter are encoded in the page's web address so you can copy or share a link to your scenario; they are not stored on our servers. If you ask us to email you a results link, that link (including the numbers in it) is recorded with your request.
• Usage data. Like most sites, we may collect standard analytics (pages viewed, device/browser type, approximate location, referring site) through cookies or similar technologies.

How we use information

• To send the materials, updates, or guides you requested, and occasional related content (you can unsubscribe anytime).
• To operate, secure, and improve the site and understand which content is useful.
• To respond to your questions.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with the service providers that help us operate the site — such as our website host, our customer-relationship system (HubSpot), and, if you subscribe, our email provider — only so they can perform those services on our behalf, and they are bound to protect it.

Our related businesses

The Nest Planner is an educational publication operated by North Pine Capital, which also operates related websites and businesses (including US Energy Investing, 1031 Deferred and MineralBuyers USA) that share one customer-relationship system. Your name and email are tagged with the site you signed up on and are used only for the content you asked for from that site. We will not add you to another business's mailing list, treat you as a sales or investment prospect, or contact you about any investment offering because you subscribed here or used a calculator. Nothing on this site is an offer or solicitation.

Introductions to professionals (only with your consent)

In some places we may offer to introduce you to an independent professional — for example a CPA or financial adviser who works on the topic you were reading about. We share your name, email and the topic only if you expressly say yes to that specific introduction. Subscribing, downloading a guide or using a calculator is never treated as consent to an introduction, and you can decline at any time. Professionals we introduce are independent of us; their advice and their handling of your information are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
